How to add patterns in Photoshop

    Hey guys,

    Ayru here, today I'm going to show you how to add new patterns to photoshop.

    Some examples of patterns:

    [​IMG]

    First you need to either open or create a repetetive pattern.
    [​IMG]

    Then goto EDIT>Define Pattern. Name the pattern whatever you want.
    [​IMG]

    To apply a patter to anything you can either use the pattern overlay on the layer effects or make a new layer and click EDIT>Fill and select a pattern.

    Maybe make a tutorial on how to make a simple logo or something.

    Thank you for the pattern resource and tutorial, looking quite good. Further more, I would advise to mention the size of the pattern also. Usually they make patterns in 50*50 or 30*30 I guess, and it would fit the canvas in bigger sizes repeatedly and regularly. :)
