    Hello Postial.

This is going to be my second thread on Transhumanism.

I just find it really interesting and I am very moved by the idea and what is to come from it.
I will try not to bore you with long definitions, but instead refer you to links with pretty pictures!

So here is the basics and general ideas that come with transhumanism:
Now I really want to focus on the whole combining man with machine.
Although the other stuff is really cool!

Just recently I watched the documentary Transcendent Man. (Links will be below)
To summarize for you it is focused on Ray Kurzweil an American author, inventor, futurist, and a director of engineering at Google.
Where he explains that this will all become a reality by or even before 2045.
The documentary then goes on to show people that are well beyond educated enough to take a guess if this will become reality or not.
You then here from all sides of the spectrum, but I will let you watch the documentary to decide what you believe.

This is bigger than we think. Some of you may have heard about the new moonshot Google is into... Calico.
Publicly their goal is to cure illnesses and stop aging.
BUT I think it goes deeper. Especially since they were able to hire Ray Kurzweil.
Only time will tell, but I would be betting money on my theory with Calico.

More updates will come and I aim on making this thread a go to place for any Futurist on the forum.
If you have anything to add or you see something that needs fixing let me know.
