    I got fed up in May 2013, due to not being able to sleep without a 3am update. Then the big exploits came out. So thankfully I missed them.

    My problem back then was my site was integrated with WHMCS so when there was a critical exploit in the wild I had to take down my whole site..

    I will no longer make that mistake again.

    Ah, I used that way as-well I integrated my site into WHMCS and it was awesome one domain. But then yeah your hit by that issue with a big error on your site when you have to shut it down.

    @FLDataTeK Why don't you look into using Blesta, @Licensecart has some good deals on the licenses.

    @sjr2004
    Because I have to much invested in WHMCS and additional plugins to change over. Plus Blesta doesn't currently do everything want it to do.

    Naaa.. The extra modules are made by Modules Garden.. And they haven't made a Blesta version yet.

    Namely SolusVM Extended and DNS Manager.

    Oh, Ok. Blesta is a solid product and seems to be more secure and managed more than whmcs currently.

    It's not a major update "having a moderate to trivial" so we don't have to update yet

    Moderate
    A moderate rating applies to vulnerabilities that rely on unlikely scenarios in order to compromise the system. These usually require that a flawed or unlikely configuration of the system be in place, and only occur in rare situations.

    I saw that I cant understand why so many people still use a software that has to updated all the time.

    Because it's advanced, it's got good reviews, it's got loads of addons and it gets updated a lot which shows it's active.
